Unlocking the secrets of Ireland’s Walking Trails

TrailAudio is an online web and application based platform that provides free audio files to walkers.

We work with trail developers to create broadcast-quality audio guides that enhance the experience for walkers by sharing the features, biodiversity and heritage of our forest, coastal, lakeside and urban trails.

TrailAudio is a QR based audio guide that will tell walkers all they need to know about your walking trails – from flora and fauna to history and heritage. Additional mindfulness and breathing exercises encourage the walker to avail of the mental as well as physical benefits. This way, we fully immerse ourselves in our natural surroundings.

How it Works

By scanning a QR code on your mobile phone at any of the Points of Interest (POIs) located along the trail, you’re brought to the TrailAudio website or application where you can access short audio files in a number of different languages.

These become your walking guide, and as you move through the trail, we provide you with all you need to know to fully explore the walk.
